Regular dental cleanings and dental exams are what prevent tooth issues.  Keeping your teeth healthly is our goal at TruDentistry of Tigard.  We strive for optimum oral health for all of our patients. That is why we, along with the American Dental Association recommend a regular dental cleaning and check-ups. Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Weinberg recommend dental cleanings and check-ups 2 times a year to insure healthy gums and teeth.

Regular professional dental cleaning eliminate bacteria.  If bacteria is not kept in check, it can build to form plaque and can lead to long term problems like gum disease and tooth loss. When you schedule regular dental cleanings and check-ups, you are doing your part to keeping your mouth healthy and happy.

Regular dental exams provide an opportunity for Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Weinberg to detect problems early and early detection is the key to fixing problems that might crop up, to be fixed quick and easy.  We can also evaluate your at-home methods of dental care and this gives us an opportunity to provide positive suggestions for at-home care going forward.

Good dental hygiene at home is essential to positive dental check-ups. Practicing good oral hygiene habits at home include brushing and flossing your teeth in the morning and in the evening.  It is also important to put limits on sugary and starchy snacks. 

Visit us at least twice a year for professional cleanings and a check-up. These habits will go a long way in preventing dental issues.
