Play Street Museum is a community-based popular culture museum that celebrates the history and legacy of the local neighborhood and its unique play culture. It is located at 11221 NE Evergreen Pkwy Suite F, Hillsboro, OR 97006. Visitors to our museum will discover 50+ playable games, such as pinball machines, slot cars, jukeboxes, board games and so much more! We have over 60 indoor games available year-round for your enjoyment. Play Street is open from 11 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday and from Noon to 6 PM on Sundays. Our Mission
Our mission is to create a fun, interactive, and educational space to connect people with the history and legacy of the local neighborhood and its unique play culture. We aspire to bring people of all ages together through the exploration of the pastime, game, and technology of the local area.
What Types of Games are Available at Play Street?
We have over 60 indoor games available year-round for your enjoyment. Play Street is open from 11 AM to 10 PM Monday through Saturday and from Noon to 6 PM on Sundays. Our hours may change seasonally. We have a small selection of pinball machines, a few classic jukeboxes, a few classic arcade games, and a few classic board games. We also have a selection of unique vintage pinball machines that we occasionally feature on-site. And of course, we have a small selection of classic slot cars, model railroads, and a large selection of classic toys!
Game Library
We are currently home to over 50+ playable games, with a growing collection that you can explore during your visit. Our collection is constantly evolving, with new games added regularly. Some of our favorites include: – Board games, such as chess, checkers, and backgammon – Vintage video games, such as arcade and console systems – Vintage pinball machines – Vintage slot machines – Vintage jukeboxes – Vintage toy collections – And more!
Museum Shop
We have a small selection of vintage collectibles, t-shirts, and other fun merchandise. We also have a few books and a selection of puzzles, games, and activity books.
Our Community Engagement Programs
We have a few programs that engage the local community and the public at-large. – Play the Game: For the last three years, we have partnered with local Little League teams to host one-day community events featuring various games and activities. This is a free event for local families, schools, and community organizations. Interested parties can contact us for more information. – Play Street Playpalooza: Play Street is home to the Play Street Playpalooza, an annual charity fundraiser designed to unite the local community and raise funds for local nonprofits through the sale of play items. We have been a part of the Play Street Playpalooza since its inception in 2017, selling play items to raise funds for local nonprofits. – Play Street Play Party: Play Street hosts the Play Street Play Party, a monthly event designed to bring together the community and create new friendships. This meet-up features a variety of fun activities, such as games and snacks, and is designed to encourage community-building.
